redamancy:
Noun, redamancy (countable and uncountable, plural redamancies)
Etymology, From the New Latin redamantia, from the Classical Latin redamō (“I requite love”, transitive verb).
Not of this earth,
nor of heaven,
but a nebulous,
blissful unknowing
of same nothings.
Not the knowing,
nor the growing,
not even the glowing resonance
where the joining transcends
even the belonging,
sought since feeling
what has always longed
to be filled.
Not the three-word affirmation,
nor its four-word expected reply.
Not even the intention
to prove these words worthy
of more than warm winds
conveying them.
Not grief of inevitability
paired into shared intimacy
with boundaries compressed until
there’s nowhere left to go
but fusion,
spasm, gasping,
holding on
for decibel-shattering dear life
as all that is golden implodes,
and rebounds,
raining godly showers
in baptism of a moment
a hairsbreadth from kissing
perfection’s full lips.
Not the trace of my hand
across endless span of your sunsets
as far as these outstretched fingertips
can stand to reach.
Not the hue of your lore
across the myth of my skin
as first me, then you,
we both turn blue
with waning dusk.
Not ever enough
and never too much;
not everlasting,
only ever lasting long enough
to know in the knowing;
not always identifiable
and never quantifiable,
our redamancy
is none of these things
and all of them
combined at once,
with the sum’s unearthly shriek
obliterating reason,
and for me, this whole
blissful clutch of “same nothings”
is always worth fighting for.

(Of course I had to sneak in another song from EPIC: The Musical! What can I say? May my audio fixations become yours as well.)
Oh yeah, and I published a book! What is it about? What an attractive question!
Tips are always welcome.
Beautiful man!
